About Taylor
“Ever since I took my first trip to Paris when I was 10 years old, I was obsessed with the French. To me, even at that age French was elegant and sounded like silk to the ears. I vowed that I would one day move to France and learn the language, which I finally did when I was 20 years old.”

Taylor is an avid traveler and Francophone enthusiast. He studied at the Université de Stendhal in Grenoble.
Established in Austin, TX in 2018, ‘Men Who French’ was born out of a desire for a more relatable and engaging French meet-up experience. In my quest to immerse myself in the French language and culture, I attended numerous meet-ups that often felt uninspiring. The sessions were either heavily instructional, lacking the organic flow of conversation, or had environments where it was challenging to connect with participants. Seeing this, I was inspired to create a unique space catered to gay men—a community with whom I shared a mutual connection. The overwhelming response was an unexpected delight, revealing a vibrant community of gay French speakers in Austin. Today, we are excited to embark on the next chapter by introducing ‘Men Who French’ to the digital realm.
