WHAT TO EXPECT

Any gay guys want to go to France, eat baguettes, drink wine, visit museums, and only use your French for a week?

You know how people dream of practicing their French in France, only to land and realize it’s way harder than they imagined? I’ve been there, and it’s so frustrating. That’s exactly why this group exists—to create a built-in, immersive French experience for the whole trip. The goal? Bring together 10-15 guys who want to flex their French muscles in a fun, dynamic environment. From touchdown to our final dinner, there’s just one rule: we’re speaking French as much as humanly possible.

Our exclusive tour group is designed for gay men eager to immerse themselves in the French language while exploring the stunning South of France. Over eight unforgettable days, you’ll experience the Côte d’Azur through French conversations, shared meals, and cultural immersion. From wine tastings in Provençal vineyards to beach outings along the Mediterranean, every moment is an opportunity to practice your French in a fun and natural way. You’ll visit iconic towns like Nice, Aix-en-Provence, and Èze, shop in bustling markets, and connect with locals in restaurants and bars—all while communicating exclusively en Français.

This trip isn’t about sitting in a classroom and drilling verbs or textbook conjugations. It’s for those craving an adventure where they can actually use their French all day, every day, with a group of like-minded gay men. Whether you’re cooking with a local chef, sharing stories with new friends at dinner, or exploring the cobblestone streets of a medieval village, you’ll be living and breathing French from morning to night.

This is about fully diving into the language and embracing the beauty of the South of France—its culture, its food, and its people. It’s more than a vacation; it’s a week-long immersion designed to inspire your confidence and fluency. Join us for an unforgettable experience where French becomes a way of life.

    HISTORY OF MEN WHO FRENCH

HOW MEN WHO FRENCH CAME TO BE

I studied French in college, and keeping up with it ever since has been a challenge. I’ve tried it all—French TV shows, news articles, and practicing solo at home—but nothing beats using French nonstop with other French speakers who just get you. That’s why I started Men Who French in my hometown of Austin, TX. The concept was simple: a group of gay men coming together to speak French.

Why just gay men? Because when you share something in common, like being gay, conversations naturally flow deeper and feel more connected. Sure, we’re all unique, but that shared experience creates a bond. What started as a casual weekly meet-up for a few hours of French conversation turned into something much bigger—turns out, a lot of guys were looking for the same thing.

After six amazing years and countless unforgettable meet-ups, I’m ready to take Men Who French to the next level: giving guys the chance to practice their French in France.
